10 Sep. 2024: Arrival to Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo Airport you will be met by Egypt Promotion Travel representative who will assist you through airport customs & formalities.

You will be escorted to your hotel in one of the air-conditioned modern vehicles (official check-in time around 15.00 hrs.)

11 Sep. 2024: Day tour Alexandria
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive from Cairo to Alexandria (around 3hrs drive)
Arrive to Alexandria and visit Catacomb of Kom el Shouqafa it is 30 m. high and built from Aswan pink granite, the Pompeii Column is thought to have been a present from the people of Alexandria to Emperor Diocletian. Most of the remains found around the column can be seen at the Greco-Roman Museum. At the top of the hill lies the entrance to the Kom al-Shuqafa Catacombs dating from the first and second centuries. They have been discovered by chance at the beginning of 20th, century.
Visit Pompey’s Pillar it is approximately 25m red Aswan granite column with a circumference of 9m, was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian., it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesarism.

Today we start exploring ancient Egypt with a visit:
The famous Pyramids plateau:
o The Great Pyramid of Cheops which was built by manual labor, is the largest of the three main Pyramids and is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the Ancient World.
o The Pyramid of Chephren, which is the best preserved.
o The Pyramid of Djoser.
o The Sphinx, a marvelous sight carved out of a natural rocky outcrop, the lion’s body stretching 45m, with its paws 15m long.
o The Papyrus Institute and learn how paper was made in ancient times followed by shopping in the Papyrus Museum, Perfume factory and Jewelry shop.

13 Sep. 2024: Aswan – Cruise (Friday or Wednesday Nile Cruise)
Breakfast on board and check-out.
Arrive to Aswan train station, meet our representative who will transfer you to the Nile cruise.
Embark on the cruise and leave the luggage & meet your guide who will escort you to visit the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk & the amazing Philae temple
Return to the cruise, check-in & have lunch.
Evening is free at leisure to do some optional excursions which will be offered by your guide according the availability or simply enjoy your stay on the cruise.
